Shoalhaven residents are assured an afternoon of outstanding entertainment when the Australian Army Band performs in a Red Cross fundraiser at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Sunday the 18th September.

Money raised from the performance will support the disaster relief and recovery work of Red Cross Emergency Services teams in New South Wales and around Australia

According to Irene Birks, President of the Berry Branch of Red Cross “The History of the Army Band is almost as long as the Australian military itself.

“The Band is the second longest continuous serving military unit in Australia and performs as a small ensemble or quartet, as well as the full military band that we will see in Nowra.

“There is something for everyone in the band’s repertoire which covers a large range of music from the classics, pop, swing, modern jazz and top 40 hits.”
