First-Ever Innovativity Training Session Receives High Marks From Top Industry Leaders In Attendance
According to the Australian industry leaders in attendance, last month’s inaugural Innovativity training was a rousing success. In fact, the training received 100% satisfaction scores among the 16 participants from 9 top Australian firms in attendance, including representatives from ANCA, DiUS Computing, MIL-Systems, Procept, Pro-Active Medical, Algae Enterprises, Planet Innovation and Tasweld Engineering.
A Practical Innovation Framework Put Into Action
Over the course of the four-day training, participants were introduced to a practical innovation framework relevant to Australian manufacturers looking to launch their innovations onto the global stage. Attendees saw the value of the course, including Craig Lewis of Planet Innovation, who said, “I am looking forward to implementing the knowledge learnt to improve our Innovation/product development and maximise the value obtained.”
Said Adrian Morphett of Earth Systems, "This world leading course will give you the tools you need to maximise innovation in your organisation, in a targeted way that will help with attaining commercial success. This course is applicable to any business in any maturity.” His colleague, Dr. John Sanderson, concurred by saying, “[Innovativity] provided a valuable introduction to essential tools and skill sets required for maximizing Innovation successes within business.”
Innovation Leaders Share Their Secrets
Held in Melbourne over four Thursdays in June by the Advanced Manufacturing Cooperative Research Center (AMCRC), the Innovativity Program was facilitated by Dr. John Kapeleris, Australian Institute for Commercialisation’s Deputy CEO, along with several other guest speakers. Paul Howley of Planet Innovation had this to say about the course leaders, "The experience and calibre of presenters and facilitators were excellent, giving confidence that we were learning from some of the best in innovation.”
